DESCRIPTION:SUMMER STEAM CAMP - WEATHER & CLIMATE (Ages 8+)\n\nThis year we've added weather and climate to our camps.  Weather is the state of the atmosphere at a certain place and time.  Climate is the weather in general over a long period of time.  We'll learn about how precipitation and wind forms by doing hands-on activities\, and we'll learn about where it comes from and how it changes.  We'll study the effects of CO2 concentrations in our atmosphere\, where it comes from\, its impact on the ocean's acidity and the chemistry of how we might be able to decrease the human impact on our planet.
