DESCRIPTION:SUMMER STEAM CAMP - NATURE'S MEDICINE (Ages 8+)\n\nPlants are the foundation of our survival\, as a food source for us and for the animals we can eat\, and as medicines to reduce pain\, calm nerves\, reduce inflammation\, soothe a sunburn\, and much more.  Some plants can also cause severe health issues to humans and our pets.  Campers build a medicinal plant book\, include pictures or pressed specimens\, identify their common and scientific names and their uses to heal or harm. LOCATION:11485 Old Hwy 285 Frontage Road\, Conifer\, CO 80433 Meet us in our cute\, new classroom space as early as 12:30. Be sure to pack a snack and water. If you signed up for a full-day camp\, be sure to also bring a lunch!
