This is a FREE community-powered event that encourages people to build a sustainable and resilient future through real seeds\, real food\, and real skills. The annual daylong fair features a giant seed swap\, 40+ booths\, 24 skill-building workshops\, 4 panel discussions\, and kids' activities (ages 8+). Every aspect of the event emphasizes the importance of a strong local food system and each attendee's role in it. Free the Seeds! is a program of Farm Hands - Nourish the Flathead\, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
