This five mile walk begins at Bergen Park at 9:00 AM and ends at the Evergreen Lake House. Several wilderness educational stations will be along the trail representing the Forest Service\, BLM\, Fish & Wildlife\, Back Country Horsemen and the National Park Service. Festivities continue at the Lake House with live music\, numerous exhibits and a program of distinguished speakers now in the planning stages. Children of all ages can learn how to cut their own "cookie" from a log with a cross cut saw and have it branded with the 50th logo. Each participant will receive a 'Walk for Wilderness' T-shirt\, food and drink\, drawing tickets\, a packet of wilderness information\, and shuttle service back to parking lot.
