DESCRIPTION:GENERAL INFORMATION\n\n\n	 COURSE: Both the 5K and 10K courses wind gradually down Upper Bear Creek\, with a finish near Evergreen Lake. This course treats participants to one of the most scenic and fastest races in Colorado. In fact\, this may be one of the best races you have ever run! The fastest 5K ever run in Colorado was run on this course - 14:07 by Jason Hubbard in 1998.\n\n	The Evergreen Town Race 10K will once again serve as the USATF Colorado State Championship for the 10K distance. The race is open to all ages and abilities\, however those participants who are USATF Colorado members (Click here for complete eligibility requirements) will be eligible for a share of the $2\,500 prize purse as well as age group State Championship medals.\n\n	USATF prize money will be awarded to the top-3 overall eligible male and female 10K finishers as well as the first place male and female eligible masters (age 40+) finishers.
