DESCRIPTION:Enjoy an evening of world class jazz at the Evergreen Chamber Orchestra's 2nd Annual Jazz Gala on May 12th\, 6 pm at Mount Vernon Country Club on Lookout Mountain.  The award winning jazz band "Bill Hill and Friends" will be featured\, led by classical/jazz/world music percussionist William Hill\, who is Music Director of the Evergreen Chamber Orchestra and principal timpanist and composer of the Colorado Symphony Orchestra.  The $70 ticket price includes a heavy hors d'oeuvre buffet (i.e.\, dinner)\, 2 free drinks\, a silent auction\, and an evening of fabulous musical entertainment!  Proceeds benefit ECO\, the only orchestra based in Colorado's foothills.  During their 34th season ECO performed 9 orchestral concerts\, as well as 4 chamber music recitals\, and 2 educational outreach concerts.
