DESCRIPTION:In today's uncertain economic times\, public libraries are coming under siege. Across the country\, libraries are cutting programs\, reducing hours of operation and\, in some cases\, closing altogether. Unfortunately\, JCPL is facing some budget challenges of its own. As we work to meet these challenges\, JCPL is holding a series of community meetings to update Jefferson County residents on Library plans and programs and to respond to community concerns. At this meeting\, we will address the concerns of Evergreen and Conifer community members regarding their libraries.
