Santa and Mrs. Claus are excited for this year's magical event\, beginning with the traditional Holiday tree lighting at Evergreen Lake House with the jolly couple. After the tree lighting holiday revelers proceed back downtown for photos with Santa and live performances by local music & dance groups. The main street is turned into a walking mall with no vehicle traffic\, complete with crackling fire pits\, s'mores\, festive shopping\, holiday specials\, seasonal goodies for the whole family and so much more. This much-loved event is the official kick-off to the Evergreen holiday season. \n\nWe are excited for the return of our ELK ON THE SHELF hunt this year. Please visit all the shops and restaurants in Downtown Evergreen to spot the elk.
