Check out the fossils on Dinosaur Ridge as guides show you the dinosaur bones and footprints. Hands-on activities at the Visitor Center include gold panning\, dinosaur track painting\, and fossil sifting. The following organizations will help us celebrate this Dinosaur Discovery Day: National Park Service\, USGS\, AIPG\, WIPS\, Bear Creek Lake Park\, Rocky Mountain Bird Observatory\, Reptile Rescue\, Butterfly Pavilion\, Morrison Natural History Museum\, Lookout Mountain Nature Center\, YellowScene\, Girl Scouts of Colorado\, RMAG\, and of course\, Mr. Bones. (Girl Scouts must pre-register through the Girl Scouts of Colorado at http://www.girlscoutsofcolorado.org/events/2429).
