SUMMARY:Creek on the Peak- down river race and festival
DESCRIPTION:Our Non-profit is hosting the National US down river race this year in Clear Creek County. We are attempting to raise awareness for our nonprofit by hosting the "Creek at the Peak" downriver raft and kayak race on Clear Creek (www.creekatthepeak.com). Following the success of last year's race\, the 2012 Creek at the Peak has been selected as the U.S. Nationals Raft Race\, and teams from all over the country will be competing for the title of national champions (alongside local teams of raft guides and individual kayakers).\n\nIn conjunction with the race\, we're hosting an all-day festival at the Idaho Springs ball fields featuring food and drinks\, live music\, and vendors promoting their goods/services.\n\nThe main event is June 23rd - and we are expecting 500-1000 people.\n\nOur event website is www.creekatthepeak.com
