Saturday\, February 1st join the Evergreen Chamber and Evergreen Parks and Rec at our 3rd Annual winter community event.  \n\n\n\nIt is time to accept our reality\, foothills community...it is cold here in the winter.  And in the dead of winter\, it can be downright frigid! In the spirit of embracing and not complaining\, your Evergreen Chamber and Evergreen Parks and Rec is rolling out a day of fun for all on February 1\, 2025. Join us for Chill Out Winterfest!\n\n\n\nRAD AS ICE BIKE RACE\n\n8:00 AM - Mens/Womens "A" Race starts (Registration opens at 7:00 AM)\n\nEvergreen Lake House\n\nPre-registration encouraged\, limited walk-up available.\n\n\n\nCome join the Evergreen Parks and Recreation District for the only bicycle ice race in Colorado! This race is ON Evergreen Lake\, yes that's right you will be racing on an approximately 1 mile course across the ice. Helmets are required for all participants and knee and elbow pads are highly recommended. There will be three total races - 2 adult races and one kids' race. \n\n\n\nMUSHIES CUP\n\n9:00AM(Check-in 8:30AM) \n\nEvergreen Lake House\n\nPre-registration encouraged\, very limited walk-up available.  \n\n\n\nFamily Friendly community competition for all ages that showcases our wonderful lake and mountain town. Teams of 2 or 4 take to the ice to pull\, like a dog sled\, their teammate(s) around an obstacle course without popping their float.  Non-slip footwear is encouraged.  \n\n\n\nEVERGREEN AMAZING RACE 21 & over\n\n11:00AM Check-in\n\nCheck in at The Little Bear\n\nPre-registration required\n\n\n\nAn over 21 race around Downtown Evergreen. You don't have to be the fastest\, just the best at completing challenges.  Teams of 4-6 will get clues that will lead them to the next location\, challenge and libation (non-alcoholic option available). Each challenge brings a new clue. Finish the race by 2:00. Includes a chill after party for the participants and community. A walking course - 1.5 to 2 miles roundtrip.\n\n\n\nEVERGREEN AMAZING RACE NORTH\, Family Edition\n\n11:00AM Check-in \n\nStart Location will be at Buchanan Rec Center\n\nPre-registration required\n\n\n\nA family foot race around North Evergreen. You don't have to be the fastest\, just the best at completing challenges.  Teams will get clues that will lead them to the next location and challenge.  Each completed challenge brings a new clue. Finish the race back at Buchanan to enjoy the winter concert.\n\n\n\n\n\nWINTER CONCERT\n\n2:00PM - 4:00PM\n\nBuchanan Park\n\nNo registration required!\n\n \nDon't miss the FIRST EVER Winter Concert at Buchanan Park Ball Fields! Join us from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM for an epic afternoon featuring Pass The Snakes! Warm up with delicious drinks from Astro Coffee Van\, gather around the fire pits\, and enjoy the bonfire vibes! It's going to be an afternoon of music and fun with our community!\n\n\nGLOW SKATE\n\n4:00PM Evergreen Lake House\n\nDay-of tickets available\n\n\n\nWe are finishing off our Chill Out Winterfest with a Glow Skate on Evergreen Lake. We are partnering with our local high schools to ensure that our teens (everyone is invited) have a great time enjoying the glow skate\, fire pits\, refreshments and DJ spinning all the latest hits. If the condition on the ice does not allow for skating\, this event will be moved inside for a glow dance.  $5 tickets for students!
