SUMMARY:Boogie at the Barn #2 - Cowboy Dance on Rodeo Weekend
DESCRIPTION:This is the second of the three 2013 Boogie at the Barn events to be held at the old Alderfer Barn at Three Sister Park.  Touted as "the best party Evergreen has had in years"\, the first Boogie event in October 2012 attracted 400 people.  \n\n\n\nIn celebration of Rodeo Weekend\, this is a "cowboy dance" and will feature Halden Wofford and the Hi Beams.  Opening will be local favorite musicians Joe Bye\, Dean Dalvit\, Rich Jacobs\, Lisa Delia\, Scott Messler and John Erlandson known together as "Rough Mix". It will be yet another high energy evening reminiscent of the foot stompin' barn parties held by Hank and Barbie Alderfer in the ranch's heyday.\n\n\n\nTickets are $8 in advance at EPRD rec centers and local coffee shops (Java Groove\, Evergbean\, Muddy Buck and Susie's Cafe)\, and $10 at the door.  Food and libatins available for purchase at the event featuring Ska Brewery\, the One Love Food truck and the Texorado BBQ Food Truck. \n\n\n\nThe barn dances are produced by John Erlandson Music in partnership with EPRD (Evergreen Parks and Recreation District) and the proceeds go toward continued renovation of the old barn and the Alderfer Ranch. \n\n\n\nBoogie at the Barn is sponsored by Intero Real Estate\, Colorado Serenity\, Warren and Betsy Rose\, Chow Down and Stone Heart Gallery (who will have original painting of the barn for sale during the event). Additional sponsors welcome!\n\n\n\nThe next  and last Boogie at the Barn for 2013 is Saturday\, October 12th featuring Something Underground.
