DESCRIPTION:Ananda Academy of Dance - Two Day Dance Workshops\n\nSaturday & Sunday\, April 27-28\, 2019 at Inspired Fitness\, Evergreen\n\n\n\nThe Ananda Academy of Dance is offering three of our most popular two-day dance workshops at Inspired Fitness in Evergreen. We are creating an opportunity for residents of the Denver foothills to experience the pleasures of partnership dancing with a series of classes which should appeal to all interests and musical tastes. Classes include our Swing & Social Dancin' Workshop [East Coast Swing - also known as Jitterbug\, Foxtrot\, and other popular social dances]\, Colorado Hoe Down- Country & Western Workshop [Texas Two Step\, Country Swing\, Double Two Step\, and more]\, and our Hot Latin Nights Workshop [Salsa & Bachata].\n\n\n\nAll our classes are created for beginning level students. Our teaching method is designed to make these classes FUN and EASY for everyone. Absolutely no experience is required. No dance partner is necessary either because we rotate the leaders and followers throughout the lessons\, ensuring all the leaders and followers have danced together. We'll be teaching the basics of leading and following\, the dance hold (also called dance frame or dance embrace)\, and basic dance patterns in each of the dances we are offering. These classes are also a great way for more experienced dancers to brush up on fundamental dance skills and to dance with a variety of partners.\n\n\n\nEach day of our two-day workshops includes an hour and a half of group class instruction taught by a nationally certified\, professional dance teacher. That's a total of three hours of intensive dance instruction. The fee for each workshop is $60/person.\n\n\n\nIn addition to the workshop\, the class fee includes admission to one of our May 2019 on-the-town events at one of Denver's popular social dancing venues. Each of our Ananda Academy of Dance social outings includes an additional group lesson taught at the venue followed by a fun night of social dancing. You can join us and try out your newfound dance skills at the iconic Mercury Caf  where you'll experience some of the metro's best Swing dancing. Or\, come to the Grizzly Rose and kick up your heels at one of Denver's most popular Country & Western clubs.
