DESCRIPTION:Shop Around the World in EvergreenAlternative Christmas Fair\, Nov 8 & 9.Want to really stretch your holiday dollars? How does all the way to Africa sound? Or Peru or Mexico. This November\, support hardworking artisans around the world while shopping in Evergreen. The 7th Annual Alternative Christmas Fair and Bake Sale will be held at Evergreen Lutheran Church\, 5980 HWY 73\, on Saturday\, November 8 and Sunday\, November 9 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Fifty vendors from local shelters to orphanages in Peru and Rwanda will be selling artwork\, gifts\, jewelry\, fashions\, food\, and more. The quality and variety of the wares are truly astonishing.The Fair is a joint effort of Evergreen Lutheran Church\, Church of the Hills\, Wild Rose Congregational Church (UCC)\, and Church of the Transfiguration. A caf  sponsored by the youth groups serves hot food and drinks.Last year the event raised $126\,000 that went directly to the poor\, displaced\, persecuted\, and struggling.
