Your ticket goes directly to supporting the ART's mission in the Front Range.\nDr. Jon Kedrowski will be presenting his new book\, Classic Colorado Hikes\, as well as talking about what it's like to summit Everest. His discussion and slideshow will focus on trip planning as well as weather and climate conditions in Colorado for the recreational hiker and scrambler and will include information on safety and backcountry preparedness. Some of the best lakes\, high mountain peaks\, swimming spots and even "Wild Ice" skating will all be part of the journey in this multimedia presentation! The talk will be followed by a Q&A.\n\nThe Alpine Rescue Team will be sharing tips on how you can stay safe in the mountains and what to do when something goes wrong or when you run into someone else who needs help in the backcountry.\n\nFinally\, we will have a raffle with prizes from Bivouac Coffee\, Zeal Optics\, Fj llr ven Denver and more! All attendees will be entered to win. There will opportunities to support the Alpine Rescue Team and receive additional raffle entries!\n\nAll proceeds will go to the Alpine Rescue Team.\n\nTickets will also be for sale at the door.
