Starting at the top of Red Rocks Amphitheater and ending up at Green Mountain\, we will see some of the best geologic features the Front Range has to offer including a massive gap in the geologic record\, the greatest mass extinction of all time\, dinosaur footprints and bones\, plant fossils\, and the oil and gas producing Denver Basin.\n\nWe will meet at 9:00 a.m. at the Evergreen Park and Ride\, carpool down to Red Rocks.
